On the island of Lesvos (#Lesvos), #INTERSOS continues its dynamic, consistent and human-focused mission that began in September 2020 after the emergency situation that many beneficiaries of international protection experienced after the catastrophic fires in Moria.
We share with you moments photographically captured showing the psychosocial support program we implement there for the immediate response through prompt intervention and effective care of people in need.
As we can see in these photos, the group session is attended by women asylum seekers who have started a psychological journey that INTERSOS supports by encouraging empathy, teamwork and unity in the face of fears stemming from unthinkable traumas and experiences of these vulnerable cases that fled their country in order to reach a safer place in #Europe.
