Yesterday, May 9th, we honored a special holiday, Mother’s Day.
The word “mother” concentrates rare emotions, warmth, caring, a life-giving force, a great quality, a special role, a supreme duty, selfless love, affection and self-denial.
INTERSOS Hellas has been honoring this day for years. In our mission in Epirus, Thessaly and Lesvos we see each and every day mothers striving to do their best for them and their children in the hope of a better present and a more auspicious future.
