Intersos Hellas – Intersos Ελλάδα organized a round table focusing on “Enhancing Capacity and Ensuring Protection for Vulnerable Migrants, Asylum Seekers, and Refugees”, with the participation of the Pandemic Center of the University of Bergen.
The discussions delved into the mental health repercussions during and post the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic and livelihood impacts on the target population, vaccination strategies implemented across different countries, and the emerging challenges related to malnutrition and food insecurity since the onset of the pandemic.
The engaging dialogue that ensued involved representatives from civil society organizations, international organizations, and stakeholders, which underscored the imperative to fortify collaborations and empower the stakeholders and involved actors.
This initiative is a component of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, specifically falling under GREECE PROGRAMME II: ASYLUM & MIGRATION – BILATERAL COOPERATION INITIATIVES (Local Development – Poverty Reduction & Asylum and Migration / EEAGrants.
