INTERSOS Hellas is a member of the international humanitarian organisation INTERSOS, which operates in 25 countries worldwide, providing critical frontline assistance. With a continuous presence in Greece since 2016 in Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Lesvos and Athens, INTERSOS Hellas focuses on building strong links with local communities and promoting protection, human dignity and social cohesion, sending a strong message against discrimination and in favour of the protection of human life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programme context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The HELIOS+ programme aims to support the integration of third country nationals, beneficiaries of International Protection and beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Greece, through a holistic approach that integrates their access to education, the labour market and vocational training and is implemented in the framework of the National Strategy for Social Integration of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will be implemented in the Region of Thessaly, by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with the contribution of INTERSOS Hellas and the Municipality of Larissa. In particular, HELIOS+ will include actions such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthening and facilitating access to the labour market through job counselling<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the ability of the beneficiaries to live independently through the learning of the Greek language.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting beneficiaries during the stages of the integration process and promoting their interaction with local communities and their autonomous access to social and public services.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening independent living through the provision of housing support.<\/li>\n<li>Raising awareness among host communities and stakeholders for the social and labour integration of beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the responsibilities of the Social Inclusion and Employability Manager include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in the planning and supervision of the project in collaboration with the management team.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and updating the implementation strategy<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the management of the budget and ensure the efficient use of available resources.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of project implementation with the management team, partners and donors.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the project team on behalf of INTERSOS Hellas , providing guidance and support.<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports on the progress and results of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular visits to the project for technical guidance and progress monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Setting priorities for the programme, ensuring that objectives are effectively achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher education degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, Administration or related field<\/li>\n<li>Relevant postgraduate degree or specialisation in project management<\/li>\n<li>At least three (3) years of experience in project or programme management in the humanitarian sector\/NGO<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with project management standards.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarisation with issues of social cohesion and integration of vulnerable populations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage teams and supervise staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design and implement regulations and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken knowledge of Greek and English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of computer use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong>  Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher education degree in Business Administration\/Finance\/Human Resources or related field<\/li>\n<li>At least one (1) year of experience in the management of financial and HR processes in the humanitarian sector\/NGO<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage payments and control documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken knowledge of Greek and English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of computer use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong>Submit Application<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you wish to apply for the above position, please send your CV along with a cover letter in Greek, indicating the job title: &#8220;Social Cohesion Inclusion and Employability Officer&#8221; in the subject line of the email to: jobs@intersos.gr.
